SUBJECT: BLC MANAGEMENT LLC DBA ANGLES COMMUNICATION SOLUTIONS
WITHDRAWAL OF ITS APPLICATION FOR DESIGNATION AS AN
ELIGIBLE TELECOMMUNICATIONS CARRIER, CASE NO. BLC-T-09-01
On March 29, 2009, BLC Management LLC dba Angles Communication Solution (“BLC” or
“Company”) filed an Application, pursuant to Section 214(e)(2) of Communications Act of 1934,
Sections 54.101 through 54.207 of the rules of the Federal Communications Commission (“FCC”) and
the rules and regulations of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, for designation as an eligible
telecommunications carrier (“ETC”) for the purpose of receiving federal universal service support.
Application at 1.
On May 29, 2009, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Modified Procedure.
See Order No. 30823. Thereafter, Commission Staff was the only party to submit written comments
regarding BLC’s Application.
On June 29, 2009, submitted a letter to the Commission seeking the withdrawal of its
Application without prejudice.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff has reviewed BLC’s request to withdraw its Application and supports BLC’s decision
to voluntarily withdraw its Application.
COMMISSION DECISION
Should BLC’s Application for designation as an eligible telecommunications carrier be
dismissed without prejudice?
