STATUS AND THE CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND
NECESSITY NO.383,CASE NO.CTC-T-23-01.
BACKGROUND
On November 06,2023,Citizens Telecommunications Company of Idaho,LLC dba
Ziply Fiber (the "Company")notified the Commission that it had changed its name to Ziply
Fiber of Idaho,LLC dba Ziply Fiber.As a result,the Company requests that the Commission
update the Company name in all Commission records.
STAFF ANALYSIS
On July 15,20211,Citizens Telecommunications Company of Idaho,LLC dba Ziply
Fiber changed its name to Ziply Fiber of Idaho,LLC dba Ziply Fiber.The Idaho Secretary of
State acknowledged the transaction and issued the Certificate of Amendment of Foreign
Registration2
The Commission has jurisdiction over the issuance of Certificates of Public Convenience
and Necessity ("CPCN")in Idaho.IDAPA 31.01.01.114.The Company holds CPCN Certificate
No.419 that was issued pursuant to Commission Order No.29396 in Case No.CTC-T-03-02.

Additionally,the Commission has jurisdiction over the granting of the Eligible
Telecommunications Carrier ("ETC")designation status.47 U.S.Code §214(e)(l)(2).
The Company was granted the ETC designation status in Idaho pursuant to Commission Order
No.27273 in case No.CTC-T-97-06.
Staff examinedthe request and determinedthat this action will simply amend the name
on the CPCN Certificate and on the ETC designation status to reflect the recent corporate name
change of the Company.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission approve this request.
