RE:APPROVAL OF POWER COST ADJUSTMENT TARIFF

On April 15, 2009, Idaho Power Company filed its annual Power Cost Adjustment (PCA)
Application. Idaho Power Company requested that Tariff Schedule 55 rates be revised to
recover increased costs. On May 29 2009, the Commission issued Order No. 30828 approving a
PCA rate of 1.4022 ~/kWh.
On June 1 2009, the revised schedule was filed with the Commission. An effective date
of June 1 , 2009 was requested. The Staff has reviewed the Schedule and finds it to be
required by Order No. 30828.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
The Staff recommends approval of the revised tariff schedule as filed by Idaho Power
Company.
