RE: Objection to fees Assessed
According to Idaho Statutes, Title 61-1007, any public utility subject to the provisions of
this act claims the assessment made against it is erroneous, must file with the commission
its written objections to such assessment. We are at this time, filing an objection due to
the reason addressed below.
An error was made in reporting Teton Telecom Communications' Idaho Gross Operating
Revenues for 2002. Teton Telecom is a utility that operates in two states, Idaho and
Wyoming. The revenues reported for 2003 were total company revenues. The amount
included $202 663.73 that should have been separated out because these revenues were
generated by the Wyoming side of the operation. Also, revenues in the amount of
980 128.00 were received from Federal Universal Service and also were included in
the intrastate revenues reported. The correct revenues should be reported as
962 523.58.
Please consider this petition to reduce the assessment. After talking with David Hattaway
from your office, we are sending in $4 500., an estimated special regulatory fee
amount.
