CASE NO. CEN-T-96-1
MINUTE ORDER
On November 13, 1996, the Commission initiated Case No. CEN-T-96-1 to determine whether rural zone charges of Century Telephone could be eliminated.
On September 27, 1999, CenturyTel filed an application to rebalance their local rates and implement extended area service (EAS). Case Nos. CEN-T-99-3/CGS-T-99-4. On April 12, 2000, the Commission issued its final Order No. 28340 approving CenturyTel’s application. The Order also addressed CenturyTel’s rural zone charges. Therefore, Case No. CEN-T-96-1 can now be closed.
O R D E R
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Case No. CEN-T-96-1 initiated by the Commission to examine CenturyTel’s rural zone charges be closed.
