RE:ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER'S TARIFF ADVICE TO MAKE MINOR
CORRECTIONS AND REDUCE CUSTOMER INCENTIVE AMOUNT
FOR PROGRAMMABLE THERMOSTATS; ADVICE NO. 08-03.
On May 15 , 2008, Rocky Mountain Power filed Advice No. 08-03 with the Commission
requesting authorization to make minor housekeeping corrections to tariff sheets filed in Case
No. PAC-O8-1 and approved by the Commission on April 30, 2008. See Commission Order
No. 30543. With this filing, the Company corrects spelling errors, and changes "Commercial
and Industrial Energy Efficiency Incentives Optional for Qualifying Customers" to "FinAnswer
Express." In addition, the Company wishes to reduce the customer incentive amount for
programmable thermostats from $50.00 to $25.00. Rocky Mountain requests a retroactive
effective day of May 1 2008.
ST AFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff has reviewed the Tariff Advice and recommends Commission approval of all items
except the reduction of the customer incentive amount for programmable thermostats. All of the
remaining changes are either minor or in direct compliance with Commission Order No. 30543.
The requested effective date of May 1 , 2008 is also consistent with the date the Order was
issued. However, there was no analysis provided to support the change in the programmable
thermostat incentive and Staff believes that material changes in terms and conditions of any tariff
item should be made in an Application to the Commission with justification for such change.
