NOTICE OF HEARING
ORDER NO. 35795
On May 15, 2023, Cambridge Telephone Company (“Company”) informed the
Commission of the Company’s objection to its 2023 assessment fees. Idaho Code § 61-1007 states
that the Commission is to issue a written notice of a hearing to the Company upon the Company’s
timely objection. Idaho Code § 61-1007 further states the hearing in this matter must be held after
ten and within 20 days after the Company receives written notice of the hearing.
NOTICE OF OBJECTION
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Company claims it overstated the Company’s
intra-state revenue to the Commission that resulted in an assessment of $8,884.29 instead of
$1,839.57—which the Company claims is the amount it should owe if it had submitted the correct
data on its intra-state revenue.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Objection is available for public inspection
during regular business hours at the Commission’s office. The Objection and documents related
to this case are also available on the Commission’s website at www.puc.idaho.gov. Click on the
“TELECOM” icon, select “Open Cases,” and click on the case number as shown on the front of
this document.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this matter will be conducted
pursuant to the Commission’s Rules of Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01.000 et seq.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this case will be held pursuant
to the Commission’s jurisdiction under Title 61 of the Idaho Code.

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED the Commission finds good cause to schedule a hearing
in this case because Idaho Code § 61-1007, requires it.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission will conduct a hearing on
THURSDAY, JUNE 8, 2023, starting at 2:30 p.m. (MDT). The hearing will be held at the Idaho
Public Utilities Commission, 11331 W. Chinden Boulevard, Building 8, Suite 201-A, Boise, ID
83714.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the hearing will meet accessibility requirements of
the Americans with Disabilities Act. Persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or
other assistance to participate in or to understand testimony at a public hearing may ask the
Commission to provide a sign language interpreter or other assistance at the hearing. The request
for assistance must be received at least five working days before the hearing by contacting the
Commission Secretary at:

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that a hearing be held on the Company’s Objection on
Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. (MDT).
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that parties comply with Order No. 35375, issued April 21,
2022. Generally, all pleadings should be filed with the Commission electronically and will be
deemed timely filed when received by the Commission Secretary. See Rule 14.02. Service between
parties should continue to be accomplished electronically when possible. However, voluminous
discovery-related documents may be filed and served on CD-ROM or a USB flash drive.
