Dear Ms. Hanian:
On behalf of our client Boomerang Wireless, LLC dlbla enTouch Wireless
("Boomerang"), I am submitting this notice that Boomerang has entered into an agreement with
Budget Wireless d/b/a Budget Mobile ("Budget") to transfer certain Lifeline customers to
Boomerang. Prior to the transfer of these customers, we wanted to provide this courtesy notice
to the Commission.
Boomerang provides prepaid wireless services to customers in thirty-one states and
Puerto Rico, including Idaho. We currently serve over 350,000 Lifeline customers nationwide
Boomerang will become the Lifeline carrier for Budget's customers served on the
Verizon Wireless network in Idaho on or about April 9, 2017, or following the requisite notice,
whichever occurs later. All transferred customers will continue to receive local and long
distance wireless Lifeline or retail services and will retain their same phone and phone number
that will operate on the same network.
Each Lifeline customer's no-cost monthly service plan will include 500 voice minutes *
100 text + I 0 MB of data. There will be no changes to the Terms and Conditions of Service
provided to these customers post-transfer.
To ensure a seamless transition and avoid customer confusion or inconvenience
Boomerang and Budget will provide affected customers with notice prior to the transfer.
