In February 2018,the Commission issued Order No.33995,which granted Birch
Communications,Inc.("Company")a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to
provide local exchange and interexchange telecommunications services in Idaho.Prior to
issuance of the certificate,Commission Staff worked with the Company to file a fmal price list
outlining all rate and terms and conditions according to IDAPA 31.01.01.133 and Order Nos.
33995 and 26665.
On April 5,2018,Birch Communications,Inc.notified the Commission that it had
changed the name under which it does business in Idaho from Birch Communications,Inc.to
Birch Communications,LLC.The Company provided an Idaho Certificate of Authority from
the Idaho Secretary of State's office and a foreign registration statement.Along with its name
change request,Birch also included its finalized Access Services Tariff,which allowed Staff to
complete its review of the Company's tariffs prior to issuance of the Certificate approved in
Order No.33995.Staff reviewed both the notice of name change and the Access Services Tariff
and recommended approval.
Based on our review of the name change notice,its submittal of a final Access
Services Tariff,and consistent with our findings in Order No.33995,the Commission now finds
it appropriate to issue Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No.522 to Birch
Communications,LLC.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity
No.522 is issued to Birch Communications,LLC,to reflect its proper name and our findings in
Order No.33995.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER.Any person interested in this Order may petition for
reconsideration within twenty-one (21)days of the service date of this Order with regard to any
matter decided in this Order in Case No.BIR-T-18-01.Within seven (7)days after any person

has petitioned for reconsideration,any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration.See
Idaho Code §§61-626 and 62-619.
