TO WITHDRAW ITS CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY NO. 352 ) ) ) ) ) MINUTE ORDER On November 18, 1998, the Commission issued Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 352 to One Eighty Communications, Inc., which later changed its name to Avista Communications of Idaho, Inc. On August 19, 2002, the Company requested that its Certificate and price list be cancelled. Avista advised Staff that it has cancelled its interconnection agreements with Qwest Corporation and Verizon and that its former customers are being served by other providers. Staff presented this matter to the Commission at its November 25, 2002 decision meeting. Staff recommended and the Commission approved the request for cancellation. Consequently, Avista’s Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 352 is considered cancelled and no further action is necessary. DATED at Boise, Idaho this day of December 2002.
