RE:VISTA NATURAL GAS TARIFF ADVICE IMPLEMENTING SPIRIT
LAKE FRANCHISING FEE.; TARIFF ADVICE 07-02-
On October 29, 2007, A vista Corp submitted a tariff advice to pass through a franchise
fee for natural gas service in the City of Spirit Lake. The franchise fee was imposed by
Ordinance No. 510 at 1 %. The Company indicated that it does not have any natural gas service
customers in the City of Spirit Lake at this time, but that it is in the process of bringing service to
the City, and the Franchise Agreement was part of that process. The Company submitted a copy
ofthe City of Spirit Lake Ordinance and the Notice posted in the Company s Idaho offices with
its Application. The fee is scheduled to become effective December 1 2007.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission accept this Tariff Advice for filing.
