ALE-T-09-01 FOR ALEC, LLC.
BACKGROI,iND/DISCUSSION
On February 7, 2018, the Commission received a letter asking that ALEC, LLC., be
allowed to cancel its Certificate No. 489 issued in ALE-T-09-01. See OrderNo. 30907. The
Company states that effective March 31, 2018, it proposes to cease providing seryice in tdatro
and that the only custorner it cunently has is its affiliate, Momentum Telecom Inc. The
Company further states that Momentum is fully aware of the discontinuance, and to the extent
necessary, Momenrum willpurchase services previously provided by ALEC from a third-party.
STAFF REVIDW AND RECOMMENDATION
Staffhas reviewed the request and agrees that there will be no customers impacted by the
cancellation of this certificate and recommends that all price lists and/or tariffs associated with
the Company be cancelled. With that, Staffrecommends approval, Does the Commission
agree?
