NAME CHANGE TO ALEC,LLC )
On November 13,2009,the Commission issued Order No.30944 granting ALEC,
Inc.a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide local exchange and
interexchange services within the State of Idaho.On November 13,2009,Certificate No.489
was issued to ALEC,Inc.
On February 17,2012,ALEC notified the Commission that it had changed its name
to ALEC,LLC,as a result of a change in its organizational structure.ALEC provided a
Certificate of Authority from the Idaho Secretary of State.
Based on our review of the Application,the Commission approves ALEC’s request
to amend its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No.489 to reflect the change from
ALEC,Inc.to ALEC,LLC.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity
No.489 be amended to reflect the name change from ALEC,Inc.to ALEC,LLC.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER.Any person interested in this Order may petition for
reconsideration within twenty-one (21)days of the service date of this Order with regard to any
matter decided in this Order in Case o.ALE-T-09-01.Within seven (7)days after any person
has petitioned for reconsideration,any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration.See
Idaho Code §61-626 and 62-619.
