ALBION TELEPHONE COMPANY COMPLIANCE FILING
CASE NO. ALB-T-98-3

On May 17, 1999, Albion Telephone Company filed tariff pages reflecting the merged rates for CLASS and custom calling features in compliance with Commission Order No. 27922 issued February 24, 1999 in Case No. ALB-T-98-3.

Carolee Hall’s memorandum indicates that Staff has reviewed the proposed merged rates and the rates are in compliance with Order No. 27922. At its April 28, 1999 decision meeting, Staff asked the Commission to approve the rates as presented in the Company’s workpapers. The Commission determined to approve the rates contingent upon the filing of the final tariff by May 17, 1999. Albion has now filed the final tariffs.

Therefore, said tariffs are approved the date of the signing of this Minute Entry, effective upon the implementation of EAS; June 15, 1999 for Westel customers and June 30, 1999 for Albion customers.
