On February 15, 2006, the Commission received a notice from Acceris Communications
Corporation that it was not providing and would no longer offer intrastate telecommunication
services in Idaho, and requesting cancellation of Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity
No. 437 (CPCN). In its Decision Meeting on March I , 2006, the Commission determined to approve
Acceris' request for cancellation of Certificate No. 437.
COMMISSION FINDINGS
In June 2004, Acceris Communications Corporation filed an Application with the
Commission requesting authority to provide telecommunications services within the entire State of
Idaho. In November 2004, the Commission granted Acceris' Application for a CPCN to provide
telecommunications services within Idaho. Order No. 29629.
On February 15 , 2006, Acceris Communications Corporation notified the Commission
that it does not have any customers in Idaho and is no longer offering services in the state, and
therefore requested cancellation of Certificate No. 437 and its price list. Staff recommended the
Commission cancel Certificate No. 437 and remove the Company s price list on file.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Acceris Communications Corporation s request for
cancellation of Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 437 is granted. Certificate No.
437 is no longer in effect, and Acceris Communications Corporation is no longer authorized to
provide service in the State of Idaho.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order or in interlocutory
Orders previously issued in this Case No. ACC- T -04-1 may petition for reconsideration within
twenty-one (21) days of the service date of this Order with regard to any matter decided in this Order
or in interlocutory Orders previously issued in this Case No. ACC-04-1. Within seven (7) days

after any person has petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for
reconsideration. See Idaho Code ~~ 61-619 and 61-626.
