COMES NOW, Idaho Rivers United

IRU") and petitions to intervene in the
above matter and in support thereof respectfully shows as follows:
1. IRU is a 501 c3 non-profit organization with our mission to "Protect and restore
the rivers ofIdaho.
2. IRU has a direct and substantial interest in this proceeding because effective water
conservation programs will reduce the demand on the Boise River.
3. IRU has an interest in encouraging conservation options to our members and the
general public.
4. Many ofIRU's members reside within the service area of United Water Idaho Inc.

5. IRU was granted intervener status and materially participated in Case No. UWI-
W -04-04 that resulted in the development of this conservation plan.
6. IRU consulted with United Water Idaho Inc. and Maddaus Water Management in
the development of this conservation plan.
7. All pleadings, papers, notices and orders should be served upon:
