Good afternoon Terri,
My neighbor and fellow board member reminded me of something I forgot about when I was preparing
my comments for the Commission.
Late in the process to resolve our water issues, we were informed by (then) United Water manager Greg
Wyatt that they would take our water rights for the two wells we owned. I was told we had no choice in
this matter-despite that fact that we had been told the value of our rights on the open market was in
the vicinity of 550,000. We had been assuming we would sell those rights and use the proceeds to help
offset the cost of the connection to United Water/SUEZ. Those funds would have provided each of the
46 homeowners with over S1000 to cover part of their individual share of the connection fee. We
believe we should be credited for this value which were forced to relinquish in the process.
