Box 414 Muray, ID 83874 208-682-3957 2010 NOV 22 AM 8= 32 November 10,2010 Commercial Customer PETITION FOR RECONSIDERATION IN TH MATTER OF THE APPLICATION ) OF MURRY WATER WORK SYSTEMS) CASE NO. MU-W-IO-Ol FOR THE AUTHORIY TO INCREASE ITS ) RATES AND CHARGES FOR WATER ) ORDER NO. 32105SERVICE ) On November 2,2010, an order was set, that the Muray Water Works was granted its application for an increase in rates and charges. The due diligence of the Idaho Public Utilties Commission staff onthismatter has been thorough and appreciated. Having fully reviewed all documentation available on ths mattr, I request that an immediate postponement and subsequent reversal of ths ORDER NO. 32105 be granted. Idao Public Utilities Commission Sta findings and records show that Mr. Arlen Lish known as Muray Water Works, is not in compliance with the rues of IDAPSA 31.21.01 and should be subject to fines and penalties. It is fuer noted that Mr. Arlen Lish has demonstrated a reluctance to comply with the rules. Integrity, reliability and quality of service should be at the forefront of all public utilities. Muray Water Works, according to IPUC Staff, has been found to exaggerate numbers, services, labor and complaints. The co-mingling of records and accounts of a public utility with other business and personal ventues is not an acceptble business practice. This should be grounds for denial of a rate increase. Being compliant with all Federal, State and County laws, regulations, orders and licenses, pertining to public utilties, should be mandatory before any consideration should be given to a rate and fee increase. Raising rates on individuals that ar on fixed incomes in an infationar time, in an economically depressed county, is not without personal complications. The existing rates are prudent and reasonable based on the service and pedormane of Mr. Arlen Lish; . Respectfully submitted ths ¡g day PfN""?:iolO i ~f! Don Erickson
