Box 367 Muray, ID 83874 208-682-4413 \1 iow NOV r 5 AM 8: 31 November 10,2010 Resident/Customer PETITION FOR RECONSIDERATION INTHMATTEROFTHEAPPLICATION ) OFMURYWATERWORKSYSTEMS) CASE NO.MUR-W-1o-01 FOR THE AUTHORIY TO INCREASE ITS ) RATES AND CHARGES FOR WATER ) ORDER NO. 32105SERVICE ) On November 2,2010, an order was set, that the Muray Water Works was grted its application for an increase in rates and charges. The due diligence of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission staff on ths matter has been thorough and appreciated. Having fully reviewed all documentation available on this mattr, I request that an immediate postponement and subsequent reversal of this ORDER NO. 3210 be granted. Idaho Public Utilities Commission Staff findings and records show that Mr. Arlen Lish known as Muray Water Works, is not in compliance with the rues of IDAPSA31.21.01 and should be subject to fines and penalties. It is fuer noted that Mr. Arlen Lish has demonstrated a reluctace to comply with the rules. Integrity, reliability and quality of servce should be at the forefront of all public utilities. Muray Water Works, according to IPUC Staff, has been found to exaggerate numbers, services, labor and complaints. The co-mingling of records and accounts of a public utility with other business and personal ventures is not an acceptable business practice. This should be grounds for denial of a rate increase. Being compliant with all Federal, State and County laws, regulations, orders and licenses, pertaining to public utilities, should be mandatory before any consideration should be given to a rate and fee increase. Raising rates on individuals that are on fixed incomes in an infationar tie, in an economically depressed county, is not without personal complications. The existing rates are prudent and reasonable based on the service and pedormance of Mr. Arlen Lish. Respectfully submitted this / ~ day of November, 2010.~~¡Don Corder
