Box 384 Muray, ID 83874 ZÐlOHOV '5 AM 8= 46 November 10,2010 Resident/Customer PETITION FOR RECONSIDERATION IN TH MATTER OF THE APPLICATION ) OF MURY WATER WORK SYSTEMS) CASE NO. MU-W-io-0l FOR THE AUTHORIY TO INCREASE ITS ) RATES AND CHARGES FOR WATER ) ORDER NO. 32105SERVICE ) On November 2,2010, an order was set, that the Muray Water Works was granted its application for an increase in rates and chages. The due diligence of the Idao Public Utilties Commission staffon this matter has been thorough and appreciated. Having fully reviewed all documentation available on this mattr, I request that an immediate postponement and subsequent reversal of ths ORDER NO. 3210 be granted. Idaho Public Utilities Commission Staff findings and records show that Mr. Arlen Lish known as Muray Water Works, is not in compliance with the rues of IDAPSA31.21.0 1 and should be subject to fines and penalties. It is fuher noted that Mr. Arlen Lish has demonstrated a reluctance to comply with the rules. Integrty, reliability and quality of service should be at the forefront of all public utilities. Muray Water Works, according to IPUC Staff, ha been found to exaggerate numbers, services, labor and complaints. The co-mingling of records and accounts of a public utility with other business and personal ventues is not an acceptable business prctice. This should be grounds for denial of a rate increase. Being compliant with all Federal, State and County laws, regulations, orders and licenses, pertining to public utilities, should be mandatory before any consideration should be given to a rate and fee increase. Raising rates on individuals that are on fixed incomes in an inflationar time, in an economically depressed county, is not without personal complications. The existing rates are prudent and reasonable based on the service and pedormance of Mr. Arlen Lish. Respectfully submitted this 11 day of November, 2010. ~frv~
