Comment: "I am wri�ng to support the hydrant agreement between Veolia Water Idaho and the
Whitney Fire Protec�on District. The two par�es have been working together for many years to provide
a water system that will help the fire departments fulfill their oath to protect the ci�zens we serve. In the
early years of the district, Ada County did require hydrants when areas were developed. This
requirement was added in later years. The problem s�ll exists for infill for hydrants in the older exis�ng
subdivisions. We are a small fire district with limited funds. This agreement will help our district with the
resources Veolia Water can provide. They have had a similar agreement with Boise Fire Department
since 2014 and both say they are happy with the agreement. I strongly encourage you to approve this
agreement between Veolia and Whitney Fire District.
