Comment: "I want to express my support for the 0proposed ac�on for Veolia Water Co. to take over
ownership and maintenance of the fire hydrants in the Whitney Fire Protec�on District. As the former
fire chief of the Whitney Fire District I am aware not only of the importance of having func�oning fire
hydrants for the residents of the District, but also of the challenge of installing and maintaining those
hydrants. I have watched Veolia's efforts in providing fire hydrant maintenance for the Boise Fire
Department and support the Whitney Fire District's request to have Veolia own and maintain the
District's fire hydrants.
