Comment: "As Assistant City Engineer- Water, I represent that the City of Meridian Public Works
Department supports Veolia Water Idaho, Inc's Applica�on for Approval of Interconnec�on Agreement
with City of Meridian and requests approval by the Commission. The agreement and interconnect plans
represent several years of collabora�ve work between Meridian Public Works and Veolia. The
completed interconnect will provide a poten�al emergency water supply for the customers of both
par�es at a frac�on of the cost of alterna�ves such as construc�ng addi�onal wells. Under the proposed
agreement, the customers of both par�es benefit, and are never subjected to any detriment. I urge you
