NEWS RELEASE: Technical hearing on Veolia Water of Idaho’s application to increase rates concludes on first day. BOISE (April 5, 2023) - A technical hearing hosted by the Idaho Public Utilities Commission
on Veolia Water of Idaho’s application to increase rates concluded on Tuesday. Veolia is seeking commission approval to increase rates for customers by 24.1 percent. The commission may approve, reject, or modify the utility’s request to increase rates.
The commission holds technical hearings for utility applications that may be more significant to the community or present complex issues. Parties to the case cross examine witnesses and submit testimony during a technical hearing. Parties to this case include Micron Technology, Veolia, the City of Boise, Ada County, one
