Comment: "Comment: "I do not support Veolia's request of a 24.1% rate increase. The Veolia requested rate increase is way to excessive of a request. Perhaps some type of
inflation/maintenance allowance should be granted but in no way their unreasonable 24.1%request. In addition, Veolia should be required to do more in promoting water conservation.
Southern Idaho is semi-arid and averages only about 12" of rain a year. Many developers, homeowners, businesses, and government entities continue to plant Kentucky bluegrass and
trees, shrubs etc. that are not very suitable for this region. The IPUC should request that Veolia do more on promoting and educating alternative ways of landscaping etc. to conserve
Idaho water. Veolia could even help promote the science of water conservation in our schools!"
