Comment: "I am writing to request the Commission deny Veolia’s requested rate increase of 24.1%. 1) While I understand current inflationary pressures have likely increased Veolia’s
operational costs, let’s not forget those same inflationary pressures are also increasing costs in every other aspect of Idahoans’ lives. Even in the best of times I wouldn’t consider a rate
increase of 24.1% to be fair or equitable, but for Veolia to make such a request at a time when hard working Treasure Valley residents and retirees are seeing inflation shrink their wallets by
9% a year? Veolia's leadership and shareholders should be ashamed. 2) While Veolia touts its recent “… completion of a two-year comprehensive effort to add $70 million in customer
improvements to the Treasure Valley’s largest water system,” it was in fact Suez that undertook those improvements. When it chose to purchase Suez, Veolia was fully aware it was
assuming the financial liabilities for those improvements, and now one can’t help but feel Veolia is looking to shift the burden of those liabilities on to the backs of local residents. Hard
working Treasure Valley residents and retirees shouldn’t be expected to shoulder the burden of a 24.1% rate increase simply to accelerate Veolia’s efforts to pay down this newly acquired
debt. I implore the Commission to study Veolia’s request very closely, and to ensure a rate increase (if any) be in the long term economic best interest of average Idahoans, not the short
term economic best interest of Veolia and its shareholders."

Comment: "Please do not approve Veolia's request for a nearly 25% increase in residential water bills. This increase does not seem justified by the limited information provided by
Veolia on why they are requesting such a huge rate increase, and such a dramatic and sudden increase will constitute a burden for residents. "

Comment: "My wife, Lisa, and I are writing to oppose Veolia's request to increase their rate for residential water by 24.1%. This is an incredibly large increase in the wake of their
acquisition of Suez. Veolia has added no value to consumers in exchange for this increase. Please do not grant this increase. Sincerely, Day & Lisa Starns"
