Comment: "Before such a large increase in cost could even be considered I would like to know how the money is to be used. The suggested increase is not justified given the lack of
information Veolia has provided about how the money will be invested. Also, customers of Veolia's system should not be responsible for financing Veolia's acquisition of Eagle's system.
That should be entirely separate and not paid for via current customers."

Comment: "A significant increase in water rates has not been appropriately justified by Veolia. Their statement about how additional revenue will be used to improve the water
system does not align with the actual plan, which includes things such as standard maintenence that should already be part of the rate. In addition, existing customers should not
be financing their acquisition of the Eagle Water Company."

Comment: "I do not agree with the proposed large fee increase. First, such a large increase is
not justified given the information Veolia has provided about how the money will be invested
in the system. Second, legacy customers of Veolia's system should not be responsible for
financing Veolia's acquisition of Eagle's system. Third, it appears that this 24% fee increase
will result in 23% increased profits for Veolia. This is not how a "public utility" is supposed to
work. We can not continue to let private companies buy public assets and then turn around and
charge the public higher fees just to increase their profits. Thanks."

Comment: "Please do not approve this rate increase. I am so tired of citizens having to pay
higher prices so that CEOs and board members can report higher earnings and increase their own wealth. It needs to stop. Veolia has not demonstrated an actual need for a rate increase, so
please don't give it to them. Thank you."
