On September 30, 2022, Veolia Water Idaho, Inc. (“Company”) filed an Application with
the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (“Commission”) requesting authorization to raise the rates
it charges for water service. The Company requests an October 31, 2022, effective date.
On October 20, 2022, the Commission issued a Notice of Application, Notice of
Suspension of Proposed Effective Date, and Notice of Intervention Deadline. Order No. 35569.
Subsequently, the Commission granted intervention to Ada County; Sharon Ullman, pro se;
Micron Technology, Inc.; and the city of Boise City. Order Nos. 35589 and 35604.
On December 15, 2022, the Commission issued a Notice of Schedule setting forth
submission deadlines for Staff, Intervenor, and Company written testimony. Order No. 35628.
On January 17, 2023, Commission Staff (“Staff”) recommended the Commission issue a
Scheduling Order setting a Virtual Public Workshop for January 31, 2023. On January 20, 2023,
the Commission issued a Notice of Schedule and Notice of Virtual Public Workshop.
On February 7, 2023, Staff recommended a schedule for processing the case based on its
discussions with the parties. The Commission considered Staff’s recommendations in its decision
meeting that day.
With this Order, the Commission sets forth a schedule for a customer hearing at which
customers and interested members of the public may testify before the Commission, and a
technical hearing at which the parties may offer evidence and cross examine witnesses.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission sets forth the following procedural
schedule:
• March 27, 2023: Customer Hearing starting at 6:00 p.m. (MDT) and ending
at 9:00 p.m. (MDT), or after all customer testimony has been taken, whichever
comes first.
• April 4, 2023: Technical Hearing starting at 9:00 a.m. (MDT) and ending
at 5:00 p.m. (MDT).
• April 5-7, 2023: Technical Hearing continued as needed each day starting at
9:00 a.m. (MDT) and ending at 5:00 p.m. (MDT).

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission will conduct a customer hearing
in this matter on MONDAY, MARCH 27, 2023, starting at 6:00 p.m. (MDT) and ending at
9:00 p.m. (MDT), or after all customer testimony has been taken, whichever comes first. The
public hearing will be held at the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, 11331 W. Chinden
Boulevard, Building 8, Suite 201-A, Boise, ID 83714. Persons attending the hearing in-person
will have an opportunity to provide testimony. Persons may also listen to the live testimony and
proceedings at the hearing by calling 1-415-655-0001 and entering code 2464 879 8267 (no spaces
between meeting number). However, persons will not be able to provide testimony by phone.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED persons desiring to state a position on this Application
may file a written comment explaining why the person supports or opposes the Application.
