RE:United Water - Expansion of Certificated Area to Serve Hidden Springs
Dear Mr. Patlovich:
The Idaho Public Utilities Commission has received an application from United Water Idaho Inc. to expand its certificated area in order to serve the Hidden Springs planned community.  The Application has been docketed as Case No. UWI-W-97-3.  The Commission also has before it an application from the Hidden Springs Water Company to serve the same area.  Reference Case No. GNR-W-97-2.  Pending before the Commission is a proposed stipulation and settlement signed by United Water and Hidden Springs Water which, if accepted, would result in service to the area by United Water.  Based upon its review and assessment, the Commission Staff believes that United Water has the ability to serve the Hidden Springs planned community.
