Comment:I believe this rate increase it harmful for homeowners.My husband and I have lived in our home for more
than 15 years.The rates have continued to increase which is making it hard to maintain our yard and many of our
neighbors who have lived here for a long time are in the same situation.Many are putting in rocks to replace there
lawns or just simply not watering because it has become outrages.We have a simple home with a larger yard.But just to
water our less than half acre lot and small yard,(which is pretty standard for this older subdivision)has cost us over 600
dollars for two months.And in raising that next year with rate increase would cost over 700 dollars which we can not
afford and either can our neighbors which means we would have to let our lawns die and weeds from the canal behind
us would take over our lot.Please stop raising our water rates so we can afford to have a backyard.Which also helps put
a fire barrier between our home and the dry weed patch by the canal.Thank you.
