United Water expands territory in east Boise
United Water Idaho, which serves much of the city of Boise, is expanding its service
territory to include two residential subdivisions east of Harris Ranch.
The Idaho Public Utilities Commission approved two applications from United Water
to add the east Boise subdivisions of Brighton Land Holdings LLC, with about 89
service connections, and Eastvalley Subdivision with about 110 service connections.
United Water, which serves about 85,600 customers, has the capability to provide
the service without the construction of special facilities beyond extending water
mains.
