My comment is on the Notice of Application to Increase Rates filed by United Water Idaho. I
am working full-time and have not received even a penny's worth of increased pay now for four
years even though the cost of living has gone up, including the price of gas, cost of food,
etc. The request for another $5.82 per month increase in rates is unnecessary and
unwarranted. United Water states that the average water consumption per metered customer has
continued to decline- -well that i s terrific because that' s what they have been promoting
extensively over the past few years. So now that the customers have made progress in saving
this natural resource, they are being punished for that effort by facing an increase in
rates--doesn't make any sense to me!
