On August 3,2011,United Water Idaho Inc.filed an Application to increase its rates
and charges for water service to approximately 85,000 customers.United Water proposed to
increase its rates an overall average of 19.89%,resulting in an annual revenue increase of $7.6
million.On August 18,2011,the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Order
suspending the Company’s proposed effective date of September 2,2011 for the rate increase.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that a public workshop has been scheduled for
MONDAY,NOVEMBER 28,2011 AT 7:00 P.M.IN THE COMMISSION HEARING
ROOM,472 WEST WASHINGTON STREET,BOISE,IDAHO.The puIpose of this public
workshop will be for Commission Staff to dispense information concerning the Company’s
Application and to obtain input from the public prior to filing its comments or testimony in this
case.The Company’s customers and any other interested members of the public are encouraged
to attend.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the workshop in this matter will be conducted
pursuant to the Rules of Procedure adopted by the Idaho Public Utilities Commission,IDAPA
31.01.01.000 etseq.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the workshop in this matter will be held in
facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other assistance in order to participate
in or to understand testimony and argument at a public hearing may ask the Commission to
provide a sign language interpreter or other assistance at the hearing.The request for assistance
must be received at least five (5)working days before the hearing by contacting the Commission
