RE:TDS TARIFF ADVICE ESTABLISHING TERMS FOR Nll ABBREVIATED
DIALING CODES; POTLATCH TELEPHONE COMPANY ADVICE NO. 07-
On February 5 2007, TDS (Potlatch Telephone Company) submitted Tariff Advice No. 07-
establishing a schedule for NIl abbreviated dialing code services. These provide the terms and
charges to be paid by entities operating NIl dialing codes, such as 211 and 811 for Potlatch's costs of
programming its switches to establish the service and for making changes to the established services.
The Company proposed a March 7, 2007 effective date.
STAFF ANALYSIS
The Company submitted cost data to demonstrate that this service was priced above cost and
not subsidized by other products or services. The proposed charges are on the low end of the range of
charges established for this service by other companies.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission approve Potlatch Tariff Advice No. 07-02.
