The proposed incr~ased rate by United Water is unacceptable. They got a rate increase 3
years ago and should at least wait for 2 more years before a request. Do not grant them this
increase.

Due to the current economic state of deflation, I find it wrong to increase these rates.
Al though the company has invested to replace aging infrastructure, they need to take into
account the personal lives this effect and those who have become unemployed or are strapped
because of the economic downturn. Water is a basic necessity and at this time, the rates
should not be raised. After the economy begins to turn around, which is predicted about the
begining 2Ø12, then they should go for the increase.
