United Water is applying for a rate increase that would raise the average residenitial
customer's annual bill from $343 to $395. This represents 15.21% increase. Although it has
been 3 years since the last granted rate increaseJ this still comes to over 5%/yearJ well
above the rate of inflation. I belive this request is excessive and given the current state
of the economy should be denied.
