I am against the change in water billing from bi-monthly to monthly. While I agree with
the budgeting and conservation arguments ,. I think that United Water is looking to smooth
out its own revenue cycle and add staff. Why are the customers paying for this change if
it is so good for us? The estimated $13 a year isn t a huge increase, but shouldn
Uni ted Water be able to absorb the cost since they will have fewer meter problems and be
able to detect leaks earlier?

Why don t we raise rates to accommodate monthly billing by upping the rate on a ccf.
This would encourage conservation. Hopefully it's time to encourage water conservation
though higher cost, instead of just hoping people want to.

united water has submitted a request for monthly billing and of course wants the
customers to pay for it. Many of us like the bimonthly billing and see no reason to
it nor do we want any more increases on our water bills--thank u

I am opposed to changing the billing cycle to monthly. I do not feel this would benefit
me as a customer at all, it will simply cost me more money. Please deny their request and
keep our bills as low as possible.

I would rather pay my bill bi-monthly than monthly with the rate increase. There
be less benefits to the consumer and more to the utility in this case. There are
certainly cheaper ways to allow the consumer to pay monthly if they choose.
