United Water seeks to expand territory

United Water Idaho Inc. is seeking authority from the Idaho Public Utilities Commission to expand its territory to include the Brittania Heights Subdivision west of McDermott Road near the Ada/Canyon county line.

The developer, Patriot Capital Partners LLC, is asking United Water to extend domestic water service to the approximate 110-acre development. United Water has determined it has the capability to provide the service. Brittania Heights is not within the authorized service territory of another water utility. United Water contends that the City of Nampa’s municipal water provider has consented to service by United Water.

The commission will take comments on United Water’s application through Friday, June 8. Comments are accepted via e-mail by accessing the commission’s homepage at
