Commission taking comments on United Water-Avimor agreement

The Idaho Public Utilities Commission is taking comments through March 14 on an application by United Water Idaho to provide water to the Avimor subdivision north of Boise.

In order for United Water to provide service to the area, it must extend its facilities, including 30,500 feet of main water line, a booster station and a 600,000-gallon water storage reservoir. Avimor will provide the initial funding of about $6.3 million. United Water will refund Avimor as new customers are connected to water facilities.
