RE:IDAHO POWER TARIFF ADVICE ADDING CITY OF MELBA
FRANCHISE FEE. TARIFF ADVICE 07-01.
On January 22, 2007, Idaho Power Company submitted a tariff advice to add the City of
Melba to the list of cities for which it collects a franchise fee. The City imposed a franchise fee
of one percent (1 %) by ordinance No 212. The Company submitted a copy of the City of Melba
ordinance with its Application. The Company indicated that it would provide a bill message
affected customers in the billing prior to the fee becoming effective. The Company requested an
effective date of February 22 2007.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission accept this Tariff Advice for filing.
