NOTICE OF HEARING
On April 26, 2006, United Water Idaho Inc. (United Water; Company) filed an
Application with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (Commission) for authority to amend
and revise its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 143, as amended. Reference
Idaho Code ~ 61-526; IDAPA 31.01.01.112. United Water seeks to add an area known as the
Trailhead Community to its certificated service territory. The area of expansion is located in
Ada County north of the City of Eagle in an area more particularly described as: a parcel of land
being all of the Westl/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 27 and all of Section 28, Township 5
North, Range 1 East, Boise Meridian, Ada County, Idaho.
Pursuant to Commission Notice, a Prehearing Conference in Case No. UWI-06-
was held in Boise, Idaho on March 22, 2007. Pursuant to agreement of the parties and the
Commission, YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the following scheduling in Case No. UWI-
W -06-04 has been adopted:
April 6, 2007 Deadline for discovery/production requests (in-hand date)
April 20, 2007 Deadline for discovery/production responses (in-hand
date)
May 4, 2007 Prefile deadline - direct testimony - United Water

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission will conduct a Public
Hearing in Case No. UWI-06-04 ON WEDNESDAY. MAY 30. 2007 COMMENCING AT
9:30 A.M. IN THE COMMISSION HEARING ROOM. 472 WEST WASHINGTON
STREET. BOISE. IDAHO
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this case will be held
pursuant to the Commission s jurisdiction under Title 61 of the Idaho Code and that the
Commission may enter any final Order consistent with its authority under Title 61.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this matter will be
conducted pursuant to the Commission s Rules of Procedure, IDAP A 31.01.01.000 et seq.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that discovery is available in Case No. UWI-
06-04 pursuant to the Commission s Rules of Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01.221-234.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings in this matter will be held in
facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other assistance in order to participate
in or to understand testimony and argument at a public hearing may ask the Commission to
provide a sign language interpreter or other assistance at the hearing. The request for assistance
must be received at least five (5) working days before the hearing by contacting the Commission
