I am writing in response to the proposed eleven percent rate increase. As a
homeowner, money is tight right now. Between gas prices and mortgage payments and
basic necessities. there is not much left over. Please consider the familie~ that will have
to tighten their financial belt even more if this passes. I understand that you are
attempting to recover costs that you spent on improving the system, That is why I
believe a smaller percent increase is more in line. A double-digit percent increase is
hard to swallow. Thank you for your time and consideration.
