Comment description: I am very upset that United Water is trying to raise their rates
again. Why is it that they have to charge so much for water when my daughter lives just
off of Cole and Northview and has a different water company and pays such low rates
compared to what United Water charges. If one water district can keep their rates down
maybe United Water needs better management to maintain their rates? It is terrible that
utility companies now can charge a fee just to allow us the privledge to have water come
into our home. Then on top of that we have to pay for water usage. The same holds true for
other public utilityes that charge a flat fee and then usage chagres on top of that. I
think that maybe someone needs to investigate United Water s books before allowing a rate
increase again! The should have to explain their reasons and compare other water districts
charges wi thin the city!
