Recently noticed that United water is requesting an 18% rate increase. Don t know the
profits realized by United Water, but I'm sure they re substantial. I strongly feel that
the water company is just trying to follow the lead of the electric utilities and the
natural gas people by draining as much money from customers as possible. I also strongly
feel that United Water is already gouging the public by tacking on that 25% summer rate
increase when they very well know that most people automatically use more water in warmerweather. I don I t feel that United Water deserves or needs a rate increase. In fact I'
like to specifically know how they spend the "extra " summer rate increase funds. I'm sure
that charging 79,000 customers an additional 25% per month for the Summer months must
surely generate a huge pile of revenue. Please say no to the increase. Thank you..

If irrigation water in the valley is compromised,the rates charged by United Water
to consumers could be significant!
Since employee wage increases don usually increase at least 5% every year,the
ability of consumers to keep up with what United Water has been doing will be difficult
