Comment=descriptIon: ~n regard to the proposed 18% increase in rates, i find it to be an
outrageous amount to increase our rates. we try to keep our lawn nice and green in the
summer and as it is now, we pay at least $150 upward every two months. i guess we could
be like some other states and just let our yards burn up in the summer. i haven t heard
of anyone s salary being increased by 18%! With all the new connections, i would think
that would help cover some of the costs. the new connections should have been absorbed by
the price of the new home sold or the contractors. I am opposed to this increase. i justdont feel it is justified. thank you

mailing list yes no: /Y~~Comment descriptIon: rate increase requested by United Water is not Justified. they
just received a 8.8%increase last fall. They have added 79.000 customers in 5years. If
their infrastructure costs are high, it sounds like poor planning on the company s part. I
can see a increase in operating and maintenance costs, but 18%is awful lot for customers topay. As a public utility, they have a set rate of return. They are making money. They do not
need to get greedy. If this passed, it would give them a 26.8 %increase in one year.
