It is the position of the Nampa Public Works Department that private water systems not be
allowed in Nampa' s Impact Area, as this will cause complications when these systems are
annexed.
, in the future, the City of Nampa could acquire the entire water systems by having the
opportunity to simply purchase the well, it would then be doable.

Attached is a copy of United Water's application to expand its service territory, along
with a copy of the notice of application/notice of modified procedure that orders a 28-day
comment period (that makes the comment deadline December 6). Comments should be sent to
the Commission Secretary and identified as pertaining to Case No. UWI-05-
