COMES NOW, EAGLE WATER COMPANY ("Eagle Water ), and files the
following Supplemental Comments in response to the Idaho Public Utilities
Commission s Proposed Order granting service of Covenant Hill Subdivision to United
Water ofIdaho, Inc.
COMMENTS
In support of Eagle Water s assertion that it currently has adequate water supply
to meet fire flow requirements for the proposed Covenant Hills Subdivision, Eagle Water
hereby submits a letter from Kurt McClenny, Fire Marshall for the Eagle Fire
Department. See Eagle Water Exhibit No., attached.
In addition, Eagle Water wishes to clarify that it believes that, in light of the fact
that the majority ofthe proposed Covenant Hills Subdivision is in Eagle Water
SUPPLEMENTAL COMMENTS OF EAGLE WATER COMPANY -
certificated area, Eagle Water should be designated as the sole provider of water service
to the subdivision.

I Witne:ssed the fire t1ows for this subdivision in October of 2002. At that time the flow
was 2576 gallons per minute ~ 20 PSI. This allows single family homes up 9400 sq ft in
size to be ooru.tructed without any reslricriolls.
If the contractors or home OWners want to construct single family homc~ greater than
9400 sq ft.. they can if the residence is provided 'with an approved au1omatic fire
