Wilcox(SMTP:DLWILCOX(QtQWEST.NET) Sent: Tuesday, March 22, 2005 12:35:22 PM To: secretary Subject: concern on United water increase Auto forwarded by a Rule Robert: I have some very grave concerns about United Waters request for rate increase. Each and every one of us affected by this rate increase will be paying for expansion of services. However United Water is offering new services to those most easily reached. We here ~n Ada County that are on old well systems need to have domestic water. I am speaking of that area out what was old Highway 55 , now called Old Horseshoe Bend Rd, Whose wells are failing and the hope of drilling new wells with any success are all but non Existent. Why can t we get water service to these areas? United water wants the easy to reach customers and leave the rest of us to fend for our own. For example: I own a old Victorian house that we converted into an office building and rentals in Boise, So I pay United water and would like to see them reach out to us in desperate need of domestic water. I am not against rate increases, but I am against rate increases when United Water is pursuing only customers that are easy for them to access and leave the rest of us out here dying for water. I insist that United Water looks at our area for expansion. Robert. Is there anything I can do that would bring our plight to the table as United Water proposes this huge increase? Thank you for the Ear and I am looking forward to hearing from you Sincerely Don L Wilcox 22- 3/23/2005
