Why do the water rates need to go up?
It seems that the more people United Water supplies water to the more they make and that should pay for their facilities. If they
need money now for future growth can they get a loan and pay for it with the proceeds from future customers? If that growth does
not occur should we foot the bill for their speculation?
Insurance, utilities, fuel costs are going up but not my income. I'd like to raise my income too but if I did my customers will just go
some other place. Do I have that choice with my water? No.
Is it a way to force water conservation so they don t need to build more facilities? I'll definitely try to find a way to cut 25% from
what I pay United Water.
