SUBJECT: TETON WATER COMPANY, LLC, FOR AUTHORITY TO ACCESS
RESERVE FUND TO PAY FOR REPAIRS; CASE NO. TTS-W-18-01
On December 7,2018, Teton Water & Sewer Company submitted a one-page letter
requesting that the Commission approve access to a reserve fund to pay for two repairs-
Targhee Trail Corp Stop, $13,206, and 50 Moulton Lane Curb Stop, $5,555.
By way of background, in January 2009, the reserve fund was created by Commission
order for emergencies. The Commission stated, "[t]he reserve tund is to be used only fbr
emergencies and major unplanned capital expenditures (plant repair, maintenance and
replacement)." Order No. 3071 8.
No timeline for review of the project was submitted. The Company included detailed
invoices with its Application, and requested that this matter be processed by modified procedure.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission issue a Notice of Application, and that the
processing of this matter by modified procedure is appropriate. Staff further recommends setting
a comment deadline of January 31,2019, and a reply deadline of February 21, 2019.
